About KHT Auditions
We do auditions differently than most theaters. The majority of the shows in our season are cast in one weekend! It's unconventional but it works for us and has proven to be pretty convenient for our actors and directors.
Directors are assigned a time slot to hear people read (or sing!) on a Saturday. Actors can choose to audition for any shows that interest them. Call backs on Sunday follow the same pattern — each director has a call-back slot, and by the end of the weekend, most of our plays have been cast and Keizer Homegrown Theatre has a Season Company!

Pro Tip: To save time at your audition, you can download and print your form and bring it already filled out!
Keizer Homegrown Theatre is committed to inclusive casting and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
