Nature of Everything by Richard Poudrier - Who is Harvey? What do we learn about him as the scenes unfold? A new work at its beginning is presented as a table read.

An American Plan by Lynn Millar - The summer of 2020 was eventful and not just due to covid. So through the magic of theater you will see events of 1919 under the American Plan and in 2020 at a Salem yoga studio where four women try to come to terms with past and current events.

Finding Dallas by James Kemp - An excerpt from a play about different people inside a nursing home. This part deals with Billie, a memory care resident, who asks “Where’s Dallas?”

All three playwrights are founding members of 45th Parallel Playwrights. After the plays are presented there will be a question and answer period.
#####

Prima Donna by Debra Vassallo - The story of quirky Theresa and intense Robert as they with their three daughters navigate life in 20th century Oregon from a logging camp to Klamath Falls.
#####

Bunny and Vincent by Jenifer Kay Hood - The two-act drama reveals the meeting in 1920 of famous poet Edna St Vincent Millay and critic Edmund Wilson. Through decades they share a mutual love of language and a literary rivalry. Like a “Star is Born” they trade places in fame as Wilson reminisces in 1972.

But little does he know that one woman may possess enough strength to destroy him forever.

Exciting News! KHT is working on a musical! Well, musical-ish show. Auditions are open for Miscast! Directed by Stacia Purdie Rice. What is Miscast you ask? It’s scenes we all know and love from musicals but... miscast. Think gender bent or some other variation on classics. How do you audition? Great Question! You can email a video submission to Stacia or schedule an audition time (but you’ll need to provide your own accompaniment). Auditions and video due date are both April 3rd. Questions and video submissions go to stacia_purdie@hotmail.com
